Sahil Kini is the co-founder and CEO of SETU, a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) Fintech that enables organizations to offer financial services to its users through Setu’s API stack. A former venture capitalist, he was one of the first few team members of the Aadhaar project when it launched in September 2010 under Nandan Nilekani and later was a core team member at iSPIRT foundation.
Embedded finance/BaaS is the talk of the town, with the likes of Marqeta, Plaid, and Stripe acting as pioneers globally. In this episode, Sahil Kini talks with The Indianaut Podcast host Gautam Marwah about how ‘every company will become a Fintech company’, how Setu is building out some of the most interesting use-cases in the Fintech space (where the target addressable market is at least 100 million folks, according to them), and his deep history of building infrastructure for the Indian financial ecosystem (at iSPIRT and under Nandan Nilekani).

If you missed any of our articles it is probably because Gmail chooses to play god and makes a decision for you. It thinks we are sending you stuff that you don't need to read. We googled things but are not quite sure why it does that.
You can help us out by whitelisting us. This way you won't miss a single email from us. All you have to do is reply to this email. Send a "Hi" and you should start seeing us in your inbox more regularly.
You can also drag the emails back to your ‘primary’ or ‘updates’ tab in Gmail. This helps train Google's algorithm about where the emails should go.
