def: indianaut
noun \in·dee·uhn·awt\
“any innovator, leader, geek genius, pioneer, trailblazer, reformer, nerd, inventor, progressive, ‘wise guy’, creator, developer, artist, analytical or creative mind who is not only transforming his or her own field but at the same time revolutionizing India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem”
A Small, Celebratory Rant
Ever since the beginning of this unwholesome year of almost-wars & mother earth’s revenge, we, at Indianaut, have been working on building a platform through which we could showcase and strengthen India's next best analytical and creative minds who are not only transforming their own fields, but at the same time, revolutionizing India's entrepreneurial ecosystem, one step at a time!
Prior to launching ‘Inquisitorial’, our long-form newsletter where we explain and analyze important stories stemming out of the Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem & economy (new articles every Saturday & Sunday), we launched our very own podcast!
‘The Indianaut Podcast’ is a platform where we sit-down with some of the most accomplished entrepreneurs, CXOs, leaders, innovators, and visionaries and listen to them share their ‘Indianaut’ origin stories (see def on top because we will continue spamming you with this word regularly).
On April 15th, we launched the 1st episode of ‘The Indianaut Podcast’. In our launch episode, Rage Coffee Founder & CEO Bharat Sethi talked with us about the recent exciting announcements from Rage Coffee, his inspiration behind pursuing entrepreneurship, how he built 3 successful businesses (ex-CEO PosterGully & iDecorama), and the art of branding.
On May 12th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ushered in a new era during the speech that lasted 33 minutes by renewing our country’s focus and putting a great deal of emphasis on self reliance or 'Atmanirbharta’ (fun fact: during the speech, PM Modi used the word, 'Atmanirbhar' at least 19 times and 'Atmanirbharta' 7 times). We like to believe that it was the launch of our first episode which inspired PM Modi to focus on self-reliance (basically what we are trying to do here).
Fast-forward to August 2020, we have released 5 episodes of our podcast so far and our newsletter now has an active subscription base of more than 2000 lovely folks (that includes you, too). Speaking of our 5th episode….
S1E5: BrewHouse Tea CEO
Siddharth Jain is a former investment banker who worked in Singapore for close to a decade before returning to India. Inspired by the glaring need for healthier beverages in the country, Siddharth decided to channelize his long held entrepreneurial dreams and started his own Ice Tea brewing company, BrewHouse.
In the newest episode of our podcast, Siddharth Jain talks with us about the beverage market in India, how BrewHouse adapted to the ongoing pandemic and how he started his own entrepreneurial journey.
You can also listen to it on Spotify, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, JioSaavn, or wherever you catch yours.
